Best Thanksgiving Pies

Traditional Thanksgiving Pies

Growing up, our Thanksgiving pies spread always included a pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and a chocolate pie. Those were the staples in my family! Over the years, additional varieties of pies made an appearance like some fruity pies or more indulgent pies (featuring chocolate or peanut butter).

This first category of pies includes delicious pie recipes for those traditional Thanksgiving pies!

First off, making an all-butter pie crust in the food processor really cuts down the Thanksgiving prep time. This batch makes two crusts, so you’ll get two pies out of this one pie crust recipe!

Making a crustless pumpkin pie is the perfect way to cut back on some of those extra calories! It’s also a great gluten free pie option for those in your family who have celiac disease. Just be sure that all the ingredients going into the pumpkin pie filling are certified gluten free as well.

This pecan pie is packed with flavor, texture, and a delicious custard base that is making my mouth water just thinking about it!

This is a no-bake pumpkin pie recipe that has a biscoff crust and some biscoff cookie butter in the filling as well. It’s the ultimate combination! You will love it.

So we’ve covered plenty of indulgent desserts, but I am a big fan of fruity or zesty options as well! I made this key lime pie recipe for last Thanksgiving, and it was completely gone! Some people didn’t even get a slice. Looks like I’ll need to make two this year!

Key Lime Pie
This creamy key lime pie is sweet and tangy! We use fresh key limes to deliver that iconic flavor. The filling is made with only 4 ingredients: sour cream, sweetened condensed milk, and key limes. It's paired with my homemade graham cracker crust to deliver one of the best pies you'll ever have!

Are you completely overwhelmed with all the Thanksgiving dinner preparations? Did pies totally slip your mind? Or are you looking for a delicious pie that no one else will bring to your Thanksgiving party? Either way, this frozen asphalt pie is the perfect option! Make it in advance and bring it out to serve. It’s super easy to make and the perfect frozen treat.
