Oven S'mores

You can make s'mores for a crowd, without the campfire! These oven baked s'mores are delicious and result in a golden toasted marshmallow and melty chocolate. Ditch the campfire, and use the oven. It's faster and easier.

Ingredients

  • 6 graham crackers broken in half to make 12 squares
  • 6 large marshmallows
  • 1 large Hershey's chocolate bar or Lindt chocolate squares, see notes

Instructions

  •  Preheat oven to broil. Place the oven rack to the middle lower position in the oven.
  • Place 6 graham cracker squares on the baking sheet. Top each square with chocolate (or a PB cup).
  • Place a large marshmallow on top of the chocolate.
  • Broil in the oven for 2-3 minutes. KEEP an eye on them!!!!!! They cook fast.
  • Remove from the oven when the marshmallows are slightly puffy and golden brown.
  • Top with the remaining graham cracker squares and eat immediately.

Notes

Chocolate variety: I usually use Hershey's chocolate for these s'mores because that's what I have on hand. However, I love the Lindt chocolate squares too. Use Reese's PB cups for variety. They are amazing on s'mores!! If you haven't tried it yet, DO!
This recipe can be doubled and tripled easily! Makes it so much easier to enjoy s’mores when you have a lot of people around. Also major bonus, you don’t have to build a fire.
