Beef Stroganoff Boats are an easy yet delicious meal kids and adults both love! It's filling and flavorful!

1small onion, diced
1cupsour cream, heaping
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoonWorcestershire sauce
1bell pepper, diced
1-2tomatoes, diced (I used Roma tomatoes but you can use whatever you prefer)
1-2cupsgrated cheddar cheese
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Separate the hoagie buns and then place on a baking sheet and toast the buns for 6-8 minutes or until lightly crisp. Remove from the oven and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat brown the ground beef with the onion. Towards the middle of the browning process add the Worcestershire sauce. Once the meat has been browned, drain any excess liquid or fat. * Remove from heat.
Add the sour cream and salt to the meat. Stir to combine.
Spoon the meat mixture over the toasted hoagie buns so that it's evenly dispersed. Top with the diced bell pepper, diced tomatoes, and then shredded cheddar cheese. Place in the oven and bake until the cheese is melted, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove and serve immediately.
*Sometimes I'll add an extra teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to the meat AFTER I've drained the excess liquid. I just really love the flavor of the Worcestershire sauce, so if you do too... you can do this as well! :) **Note: When placing the hoagie buns in the oven, you want them on the baking sheet with the top and bottom bun portion separated.
