Ingredients

  • 2 graham cracker squares (1 graham cracker sheet, broken in half)
  • 1 large marshmallow
  • 1/2 chocolate bar or can sub for a Reese's PB cub, Lindt chocolate square, Hershey's chocolate squares, Ghriadelli caramel square etc.

Instructions

  • Place 1 graham cracker square on a microwave-safe plate. Top with the chocolate.
  • Place the large marshmallow on top of the chocolate and microwave for 15-20 seconds or until marshmallow is puffed up and doubled in size.
  • Remove from microwave and cover with the other graham cracker square. Enjoy!

Notes

Cooking times will vary depending on your microwave.
If you don’t want your chocolate melted, don’t put it in the microwave. You can add the chocolate after heating the mallow.
If you want a meltier chocolate: Place the chocolate on a graham cracker square and microwave for 7-10 seconds. THEN add the mallow and microwave until puffed up. Top with the other graham cracker square and enjoy!
Be sure to use a microwave-safe plate.
You can do multiple microwave s'mores at a time, it just might take a bit longer than the 15 seconds to get each of the marshmallows puffy. If your microwave doesn't have a turntable inside (a plate that turns while the microwave is on) then you'll want to stop in the middle of the time and flip the plate.
These are best eaten fresh.
