Chocolate Drizzled Popcorn

If you need a quick sweet and salty snack make this 5 minute chocolate drizzled popcorn recipe! Simply melt some white chocolate and dark chocolate and drizzle it overtop popcorn. We like to use microwave popcorn for ease and for the buttery salty flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags microwave popcorn
  • 4 oz white chocolate finely chopped
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate or milk chocolate or dark chocolate, whichever you prefer
  • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt for sprinkling at the end

Instructions

  • Pop the microwave popcorn, remove from the microwave and pour the popped popcorn on a wax paper lined baking sheet. 
  • Place the chocolate and white chocolate in separate microwave safe bowls. Melt each chocolate, one at a time, at half power stirring every 20-30 seconds until the chocolate is fully melted. 
  • Drizzle the chocolate over the popcorn. Repeat melting the white chocolate and drizzle over the popcorn. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt (optional).
  • Let the chocolate set. Enjoy!

Notes

Can use the colored baking chips found at craft stores if you want the drizzled chocolate it to be a colored theme for holidays or parties.
Use the microwave at half power to avoid burning the chocolate or the popcorn.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 7 days.
