Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter softened to room temperature
  • 4 small to medium strawberries hulled and stems removed
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar or honey

Instructions

  • In a medium size bowl add the strawberries. Use a potato masher to smash the berries. You should have 1/4 cup of mashed strawberries.
  • Add the softened butter and powdered sugar and use a hand mixer to beat until smooth and fluffy.

Notes

You also have to option to use a food processor to blend everything together so that the strawberry mixture is less chunky. Or just use a potato masher vigorously to get your desired consistency.
Store on the counter at room temperature for a day or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week. Butter will also stay good in the freezer for up to two months.
