8-10blackberries(more or less depending on your preference)
Store bought pizza dough, or homemadeabout 14 oz
fresh basilfor topping
freshly grated parmesanfor topping
freshly ground black pepperfor topping
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 500° F. While the oven is preheating have a pizza stone in the oven. Roll out the pizza dough onto a piece of parchment paper. I like thin crust pizza so I roll mine to about 1/4" thick or less.
Spread marinara over the dough. You can add however much you like. I prefer less sauce. You'll want to just eye-ball it and do it to your liking. Sprinkle the mozzarella over the sauce. Add the prosciutto and the blackberries.
Carefully slide the pizza and parchment paper onto the pizza stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes. The crust should be golden brown, the cheese melty, and the crust cooked throughout.
Once finished cooking remove from the oven. Add torn fresh basil, freshly grated parmesan, and fresh cracked pepper to the top of the pizza. Slice, and serve!
Notes
Will feed about 2 adults. This is a smaller pizza. Baking on a pizza stone helps the crust bake fully and get nice and crisp everywhere. If you don't have a pizza stone, you might consider using a baking sheet that has been brushed with olive oil, then roll out your pizza dough and par bake it for 4-5 minutes prior to adding any toppings.
